Forced to home confination during the
Pandemic in the Cypriot countryside,
Kostas continues his artistic research
starting from the world around him. In this
new life anything can become a source of
inspiration perhaps for a color, a feeling,
a form. This is the birth of the portraits series.
Each of these paintings represents the “spirit”
of everyday life objects. Color choices,
compositions and harmony are dictated
by what the artist can read and feel about
them. So we have wisteria becoming a mystical
spirit or even a cat becoming a surreal spirit.
